ClarC
CLARC is a 3D action-puzzle game available on PC/Mac/Linux, Android and iOS devices, and OUYA. The game is developed by Golden Tricycle, a studio in Germany, using Unity.
CLARC is a hard-working robot, he loves Boxes and order. CLARC will face a great danger and the menace to be shut down because of a new generation of robots. The player will have to help CLARC perform his tasks and solve the mysteries and challenges of the factory.
I was an intern Level Designer on this project during 3 months. My tasks were to create levels through a defined process. First sketching ideas in order to discuss them with the team, draw them using Illustrator, and then after some iterations, assemble them into Unity in order to test them and modify them if necessary. I also did some Game Design work on new gameplay elements and ideas.
Even if I worked through long distance, it was a great experience for me. I managed to acquire discipline and concentration into work, had daily meetings with the team, and learned a lot about iterative process, coherence and architecture design. I learned also a lot more about the overall steps of a game production. Also, I met great people and it was a pleasure to work with them.
